FAQ
We know choosing the right groomer for your dog is a big decision. Here are answers to the most common questions we hear from Winter Springs dog parents about our Signature Spa Package and full-service grooming.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
It depends on your pet's size, coat condition, and what they need done. A full groom usually takes 1-3 hours, but we're not watching the clock – we go at your pet's pace. If they need breaks, we give them breaks.
My dog gets anxious at the groomer. Can you handle that?
Absolutely. We get it – some pups are nervous, and that's okay. We take things slow, use lots of positive reinforcement, and never force anything. If your dog needs extra patience, we've got plenty of it. We also regularly have professional trainers on staff to help with making this as stress-free as possible.
What if my pet's coat is really matted?
We'll do our best to work through mats gently, but sometimes a shorter cut is the kindest option. We'll always talk to you first before making any big decisions about your pet's haircut.
Do you groom large dogs?
Yes! We groom dogs of all sizes. Our pricing is based on size, coat condition, and time required. Contact us for a quote specific to your dog.
What if my dog has special needs or is a senior?
We have extensive experience with senior dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and special needs pups. Our patient approach and dog training background make us especially equipped to handle dogs who need extra care and understanding.
How often should my dog get groomed?
Most dogs with hair (not fur) need full grooming every 4-8 weeks, depending on coat type and lifestyle. We can recommend a schedule based on your dog's specific needs during your first visit.
